1.       Format – 18-Hole Net Alternative Shot Match Play

2.       Handicapping – 50% of A player and 30% of the B player

a.       Golfers without an established handicap will work with SOG staff to establish a handicap for their first round. That score will then be used to establish a SOG handicap moving forward.

3.       Scoring – Matches will be played in a round-robin format with the top two teams competing for the inaugural championship!

4.       Scheduling – Teams will work with one another and SOG staff to schedule matches. Two-Hour windows will be provided for each match. Matches not scheduled within the window will be forfeited unless otherwise approved at the discretion of the Tournament Director.

ut    Putting – All games will have an auto-putt set up for anything inside of 10ft. All condition settings or otherwise will be the same for each bay and time slot weekly.

5.       Tees – Tee assignments may vary from week to week and can be modified for individuals with approval from the active SOG employee.

6.       Tracking Play – All games will be tracked manually at the conclusion of each round. SOG staff will update the standings in real time and have them available to all players/teams.

7.        Prizes – The inaugural Tobacco Trail Championship winning team will receive a grand prize of $600 in cash!

8.        Technology – We LOVE our simulators (and know you do too)! That being said, like all technology, there will be instances where the technology does not work in our favor.

a.        If a “mulligan” can be taken for a shot counted in error, one will be provided. If not, a reasonable reduction in strokes will be accounted for.

                                                                              i.        i.e. – If a ball is accidently hit into the zone and the sim picks it up, a mulligan will be given if possible. If not, there will be a stroke reduced from your score for that shot.

b.       Freezing – In the unlikely event of the simulator freezing and needing to be reboot, the game will be resumed beginning on tee box of the hole you were on.

                                                                              i.        i.e. – If you’re all around the green putting and it freezes, the reboot will be set to the tee box of that hole and you will play the hole again.

9.        Other Decisions – There will be other issues that arise that have not be accounted for. To that end, all decisions made by the active SOG employee will be rendered final.

10.   FUN & FRIENDLY COMPETITION – Remember, more than anything, we’re all here to have fun and keep our games sharp!18
