1.       Format – 9-Hole Net Stroke Play Event

2.       Handicapping – Adjusted to 40% of posted handicap on GHIN, The Grint, or similar.

a.       Golfers without an established handicap will work with SOG staff to establish a handicap for their first round. That score will then be used to establish a SOG handicap moving forward.

3.        Scoring – Weekly “FedEx Style” points will be assigned based on net finishing position. Points will be assigned as follows:

a.        Each player will also be awarded 50 bonus points for each week of participation.

4.        Putting – All games will have an auto-putt set up for anything inside of 8ft. All condition settings or otherwise will be the same for each bay and time slot weekly.

5.        Tees – Most golfers will play the course each week from the BLUE tees. Tee assignments may be modified with approval from the active SOG employee.

6.        Tracking Play – All games will be tracked using the FS Compete Software. All players must create a FS Complete account to participate. Gross and Net scores will also be tracked and shared with all players by 12pm on Tuesday following play each week.

7.        Prizes – The lowest net score winner from each week will receive a $100 Gift Card. Additionally, a season-long prize will be awarded (value +/- $250) at the end of each six week “season”.

a.        Your lowest four (4) scores out of six (6) will count toward the seasonal prize.

8.        Technology – We LOVE our simulators (and know you do too)! That being said, like all technology, there will be instances where the technology does not work in our favor.

a.        If a “mulligan” can be taken for a shot counted in error, one will be provided. If not, a reasonable reduction in strokes will be accounted for.

                                                                              i.        i.e. – If a ball is accidently hit into the zone and the sim picks it up, a mulligan will be given if possible. If not, there will be a stroke reduced from your score for that shot.

b.       Freezing – In the unlikely event of the simulator freezing and needing to be reboot, the game will be resumed beginning on tee box of the hole you were on.

                                                                              i.        i.e. – If you’re all around the green putting and it freezes, the reboot will be set to the tee box of that hole and you will play the hole again.

9.        Other Decisions – There will be other issues that arise that have not be accounted for. To that end, all decisions made by the active SOG employee will be rendered final.

10.   FUN & FRIENDLY COMPETITION – Remember, more than anything, we’re all here to have fun and keep our games sharp!
